View or Create .htaccess file in cPanel account
The .htaccess file is a configuration file for use on web servers running the Apache Web Server software. It is a default name for a file which indicates who can or cannot access the contents of a specific file directory. To create a .htaccess file in cPanel, follow the below steps
Step 2: Select the option File Manager under the section Files
Step 3: List of files can be viewed and to create a .htaccess file, click the button File
Step 4: Enter the file name and location and then click the button “Create New File”
Step 5: The .htaccess file can be viewed in the list of files in File Manager
Step 1 Login into the cPanel
Step 2 Go to the files Section and select the file manager option in it.
Step 3 Here you can view the list of files available in the cPanel account. To create a .htaccess file, click the button “File” at the top of the page.
Step 4 Enter the file name and location for creating a new file. Then click the button “Create New File”.
Step 5 The .htaccess file can be viewed in the list of files in File Manager.
