View disk usage for an email account in cPanel

In the email account setup section of cPanel, you are allowed to set a quota for each email account. But because the system allows you to enter any quota for an email account, from 1MB to Unlimited, there is a chance that users are assigned a quota that exceeds the entire hosting account, or have already used up a huge chunk of the allowed storage size. To check the amount of disk used by an email account, follow the below steps

Step 1: Login to cPanel

Step 2: Go to Email section in cPanel dashboard

Step 3: Select the option ‘Email Disk usage’ to view the disk usage of the email account

Step 4: Choose the Email account in which you want to see the disk usage

Step 5: It will display the Disk usage and number of the messages in folder wise

Step 6: To remove messages in a particular folder, select the mailbox name and click the option ‘Manage’

Step 7: Then select the condition to delete the messages in the particular folder

Step 8: Now click the option ‘Delete Permanently’ to delete the messages

Step 4 Choose the Email account in which you want to check the Disk usage.

Step 5 It will display the Disk usage and the number of the messages in folder wise.

Step 6 To Remove the messages in the particular folder, select the mailbox name and click Manage.
