Plesk Extensions:
A Plesk extension is a third-party software that allows adding new functionality in Plesk. These extensions are like the Plugins in WordPress. It helps the administrators and developers with extra tools to add functionality to the Plesk panel via PHP, make CSS and JavaScript tweaks and also allows a fine-grained amount of customizations.
In Plesk, the extension utility is used in managing the extensions through the Command-Line Interface(CLI). These extensions can be easily installed, removed and configured directly from Plesk panel. It also helps to provide more tools that enhance the services provided to the customers. This tutorial helps to manage extensions in Plesk.
Follow the below steps to manage extensions in Plesk:
Step 1: Login to Plesk account.
Step 2: Navigate to Server Management and click Extensions.
An extensions tab will open and Plesk lists all new recently installed and updated apps.
Extensions Catalog:
Extensions catalog will show the featured, Most popular extensions and also newly updated available extensions.
My Extensions:
My Extensions will help you to list the installed extensions and also user can upload downloaded extensions from the local computer. Click ‘Upload Extension’ to add extensions that are in .zip format.
Updates:
You can use this option to list the available extensions updates. Plesk also provides an option to auto-update extensions as well as to manually check for updates.
