A Plesk extension is a third-party software that allows adding new functionality in Plesk. These extensions are like the Plugins in WordPress. It helps the administrators and developers with extra tools to add functionality to the Plesk panel via PHP, make CSS and JavaScript tweaks and also allows a fine-grained amount of customizations.

In Plesk, the extension utility is used in managing the extensions through the Command-Line Interface(CLI). These extensions can be easily installed, removed and configured directly from Plesk panel. It also helps to provide more tools that enhance the services provided to the customers. This tutorial helps to manage extensions in Plesk.
