Email encryption is a mechanism of an email message to protect the contents from reading by an unauthorized recipient. email encryption methodology depends on public key cryptography, the user generates a public key that can be used by others to encrypt messages.email encryption hides the email content from the unauthorized recipient by encrypting it into an unreadable form. email encryption increases the security of your emails.

Steps to Create a private key for email encryption:

Step 1: Log in to the cPanel.

Step 2: Click on encryption under Email panel.
Step 3: Enter the following information

Your Name: (your name)

Your Email: (your email address)

Comment or Nickname:

Key Password: (the private key)

Confirm Password: (same private key)

Expiration Date: Default.

Key Size: (the higher the size the better)

Step 4: Click the Generate key button.
Step 5: It will take a few seconds to generate a new key.

If you want to send an encrypted mail to someone, you need to give them the public key you have generated. Then send the encrypted mail, the receiver will use the private key to decrypt the mail.
