Putty
PuTTy is a free implementation of SSH and Telnet with a terminal emulator for Windows and Unix platforms. Putty allows to log in securely to a Unix system with help of executing shell commands. It uses secure Socket with public key encryption for sending typed commands and receiving text responses over TCP/IP. Putty also supports local serial port connections and IBv6.
Putty software providing to change the appearance of the environment to what you like. Putty provides a number of settings that allow you to do this. Follow the below steps to change the putty appearance.
Steps to change the Putty’s Appearance
Step 1: Open putty application.
Step 2: Go to appearance.
Step 3: The first settings here allow you to adjust the cursor’s appearance. by default, it shows Block, but you can change other two.
Step 4: click the check the box make the cursor blinking.
The user can also to change the font settings.
Step 1: Click change.. option
Step 2: Now you can show a new window and allow to select the font style as your wish and click OK.
Step 3: Mark this check box to hide the mouse pointer when typing.
Step 4: Last on this page, you can adjust the appearance of the window border. This value to help you the gap between text and window edge
Step 5: To display a sunken edge border(slightly thicker), click this checkbox.
If you want to change the background and foreground color follow the below steps
Step 1: Go to colors options.
Step 2: Let’s change the background.
Step 3: Choose a Basic color, or pick a custom color using the tool at right and click OK.

Save our changes to the session
Then, press Open. you can see the changes in the terminal.
