A WiFi network uses radio waves to transmit information across a network. A wifi connection is established using a wireless adapter to create hotspots. Hotspots are the areas where the WiFi access is available and allows the users to access internet services. It provides wireless connectivity to the devices by emitting frequencies between 2.4GHz – 5GHz, based on the amount of data on the network. A computer wireless adapter translates data into a radio signal and transmits it using an antenna. The wireless router receives the signal and decodes it.
