World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) is an International Community of Standards for the World Wide Web (www or w3) which was founded in October 1994 by Tim Berner’s Lee. It is a member organization which maintains full-time staffs for developing the web standards. It is working to standardize the web and makes it accessible all over the world. It also creates and maintains W3C standards and these standards are called as W3C recommendations. It provides privacy and security guidelines for a website.
