An add-on domain is an additional domain that is stored as a subdomain of your main site. Use add-on domains to host additional domains on your account without registering a new domain name. Add-on domains allow you to control multiple domains from a single account. An add-on domain links a new domain name to a subdirectory of your account’s public_html (document root) directory, and then stores its files in that subdirectory. To create an addon domain in cPanel, follow the below steps
Step 2: Select the option Addon Domains under the section Domains
Step 3: Create an Addon domain by entering the domain name and click the button “Add Domain”
Step 4: A successful message for creating an addon domain is displayed
Step 1 Login to cPanel. you can directly login through your domain URL other you can access your cPanel via server URL.
Step 2 Go to Domains section and choose Addon domains option.
Step 3 Now you can view the addon domain interface, where you can perform add-on domain operations.
To create an add-on domain, perform the following steps:
- Fill the new add-on domain’s name in the New Domain Name text box.
- Enter the directory that you wish to contain the add-on domain’s files in the document root text box.
- Click Add Domain.
Step 4 A successful message of creating an addon domain is displayed.
Step 5 In this interface you can perform the tasks like modification, redirecting link, and deleting an existing Addon domains.
