The first fax machine was invented in 1843 by a Scottish mechanic and inventor Alexander Bain. The fax is a method of encoding data and transmitting it to a telephone line or radio broadcast. It will be received at a remote location as a hard copy of the text, line drawings, or photographs. The technology for fax machines was invented before a long time but it did not become popular until the 1980s.
