Step 1:
Open FileZilla FTP client.
Step 2:
Click the “Edit” option on the top menu bar of the Filezilla and then click on “Network Configuration Wizard” option. You can see the “Firewall and router configuration wizard” window and click the next button.
Step 3:
On the next window, you should select a default transfer mode as “Passive (recommended)” and check the box “Allow fallback to other transfer modes on failure” and click on “Next” button.
Step 4:
Now you can see “Configure Passive Voice” window. Choose the option Use the server’s External IP address instead and click on “Next” button.
Step 5:
On the next window, you should select on “Get external IP address from the following URL” and use Default URL which is http://ip.filezilla-project.org/ip.php and click on the “Next” button.
Step 6:
On the next window, you need to configure the port range. Click the option Ask OS for a port and click the “Next”.
Step 7:
Now you can see the Configuration testing window. Click on “Test” button and FileZilla will try to connect to probe.filezilla-project.org which will be used for performing some simple tests.
