The first USB technology was developed in the year 1994 and it was co-invented by Ajay Bhatt of Intel and the USB-IF (USB Implementers Forum, Inc). The organization is comprised of industry leaders like Microsoft, Intel, LSI, Compaq, Apple, and Hewlett-Packard. USB (Universal Serial Bus) is a technology which allows connecting an electronic device to a computer. It is mostly used for keyboards, scanners, printers, digital cameras, and USB flash drives.
