What is Tomcat?
Tomcat Installation Tomcat is an open source implementation of web server developed by Apache Software Foundation. It basically makes Java web applications to run on host and server-based system and it is configured on localhost port 8080. It runs on JSP, Servlet, etc. Tomcat can be installed on cPanel and WHM by using EasyApache script. It can be done by logging into WHM panel as root and click on Software>>EasyApache. Select Tomcat while you are rebuilding Apache, that is the only step needed in order to install Tomcat in the system.
The Directory which contains the Tomcat Installation on cPanel and WHM:
Tomcat installation can be extracted to a new directory and it will be stored in it. The directory that contains Tomcat Installation is /usr/local/jakarta
