Amazon was founded on July 5, 1994, by Jeff Bezos. It is an American electronic commerce and cloud computing company started with the name “Cadabra” as in Abracadabra in 1994. Jeff Bezos was talking to his lawyer on phone about some legal issues but the lawyer misheard the name of Company name as “Cadaver”. This made Jeff decide to change his company’s name as Amazon.
