How to Login into your WHM?

WHM – Web Host Manager is a web-based tool for server administrator and resellers. There are two types of privileges. The WHM provides GUI ( Graphical User Interface) with themes also. It is more responsive and dynamic. The WHM is able to use on tablets also which is responsive.

1. Root
2. Reseller

The root user has full access privilege on the server and reseller user has some restricted(limited) privileges is granted by the root user. The reseller user can manage the cPanel accounts under the accounts.

The WHM Support Perl, PHP, and more. It is a proprietary software. The WHM listen on port no 2086 (Non-SSL) and 2087 (SSL).

To know how to login into the WHM follow the instructions below.

Step 1: Open a Web Browser like Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome or anything you wish. Type your_domain_name.tld in Address bar along with “/whm” without quotes

Step 2: If you are comforted with port numbers. type your_domain_name.tld:2086. The port no: 2086 for Non-SSL websites.

Step 3: If you have installed the SSL certificate for your website. Then you can use your_domain_name.tld:2087.

Step 4: It redirects to the WHM login page. Here you can change the language as you wish. The language list is available at the bottom of the page.

Step 5: Enter your respective username and password and press “Login” button. It redirects to the WHM Homepage.

Step 6: Now you redirected the WHM dashboard.
