FileZilla FTP:

FileZilla is one of the free software for transferring the files from local to server or server to local. It is the cross-platform FTP application, consisting of FileZilla FTP Client and FileZilla Server. It is a powerful software using for transferring the files over the internet which is used from all over the world. FileZilla is used to upload the files to the website and as well as can download the files from the website. To upload the files, need to configure FileZilla to your FTP account of the website. In this article, we will show you the steps to be followed to use the FileZilla to upload and download the files without login to the cPanel.

Steps to Use FileZilla FTP to upload/download files without login to cPanel:

Step 1: Download the latest version of “FileZilla Client” application from this link: https://filezilla-project.org/download.php

FileZilla is available for Windows, Mac, and Linux platform in 32-bit and 64-bit version.

Once download completed Install the FileZilla application on your computer.

Step 2: Open the FileZilla and choose the “Site Manager” under the “File” menu. Or Press “Ctrl + S” to open a site manager.

Step 3: Now the “Site Manager” dialog box gets open. In that, you have to click on the “New Site” button then fill the required fields in it.

Step 4: Fill the appropriate FTP details in the fields. The necessary fields are Hostname, Username, Password and Port number.

Step 5: Press the “Connect” button. To establish the connection to your server, it will take some seconds to connect to your server.

Note: If you want to reconnect or reuse the same account details. Please go to the Site Manager. Select “your_site_name” and “Connect” button in it. To avoid the repeated entry of FTP details.

Step 6: Click on the option of Checkbox “Always trust certificate in future sessions.” and then click on the “Ok” button.

Step 7: Once it connected, open the respective folder.

Step 8: In the left pane select the files to upload. And right-click select upload.

Step 9: After, selecting the Upload option. FileZilla has started the process and update on the remote side.
