LED

LED (Light Emitting Diode) is an electronic device which emits light when an electric current is passed through it. Earlier, LEDs produces only red light but modern LEDs can produce several colors such as red, green, and blue light. Recent technology has made it possible to produce white light also. LEDs produces brighter light with less energy so that traditional LCDs are replaced with LEDs. It is also used in clock displays, flashlights, and electronic signs.
