HTML 5 is a markup language published in October 2014 by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C). It is the fifth and current version of HTML standard. This new standard incorporates features like video playback and drag-and-drop. It was supported by all latest browsers such as Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Opera, Apple Safari, and Internet Explorer. Many syntactic features were included for handling the multimedia and graphical contents.
