Firewall in Plesk has the configuration policies and rules by default. Policies affect the connection to or from the server. The firewall configuration file winfw.conf.xml is in %plesk_bin% directory. You can redefine the security rules according to your requirement.
After enabling the firewall, it can be managed in two ways:
- Changing the settings of the default policies and rules.
- Creating custom rules.
To Display help on the use of the utility, use the following command
plesk bin firewall.exe –help
You can use the –help or -h in the [<option> <param>].
