Computer Security Day is observed on November 30th every year. It was first observed in 1988 when the world experienced the worst computer virus outbreak known as Jerusalem. This virus is activated whenever the 13th day of the month is a Friday. The Association of Computer Security Day created this day which was further strengthened by the CyberSecurity Act of 2010. It was created to raise awareness of computer security issues.
