The C was developed at Bell Laboratories in the year 1972 by Dennis Ritchie. It has become one of the most widely used languages of all time. Many of its principles and ideas were taken from the earlier language B and B’s earlier ancestors BCPL and CPL. The origin of C is closely tied to the development of Unix operating system. Many languages such as C++, JavaScript, C#, Perl, Python are borrowed directly or indirectly from C.
